PDF-4+ 2009 is a comprehensive X-ray powder diffraction database and analysis platform developed by the International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD). Designed for accurate phase identification and quantification, it integrates a large, curated collection of inorganic and organic diffraction data with associated crystallographic, chemical, and physical properties. The 2009 edition expands coverage and refines search–match and visualization tools, enabling users to search by chemistry, peak lists, unit cell parameters, and subfiles; review stick patterns and simulated profiles; and access atomic coordinates, quality marks, and reference intensity ratio (RIR) information where available.
